To proclaim the gospel and to make disciples who impact lives for Jesus Christ in Port Aransas and throughout the world.
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." - Mark 16:15
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
Our Focus:
A primary focus God has given to FBC Port Aransas is to reach our local community for Jesus Christ.
In order to pursue this purpose, our resources are focused to emphasize two areas:
- The Holy Spirit reaches people in our community for Christ through the individual lives and testimonies of saints that attend our church. Therefore, a primary focus is to equip believers attending our church to be a living testimony to the grace of God with their neighbors, co-workers, and others they interact with within our community.
- Our Father God continues to provide opportunities to reach families living or working in our community for Him through the Holy Spirit's convicting work in the hearts of our local youth and children. As such, we intentionally focus resources where the harvest He provides is the ripest.
Although these aforementioned areas are of primary focus, we also support:
- Gospel-based ministries intended to make disciples of various other groups that participate in our community and in our local church at different times throughout the year, including “weekenders” and “Winter Texans”.
- International mission ministries selected based on their Gospel reaching potential.
